Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group - USA DSMIG-USA is an association for professionals in many disciplines who provide care to individuals with Down Syndrome, as well as their families.

As part of the DSMIG-USA Annual Symposium in July, Katie Frank, PhD, OTR/L, was awarded the Bonnie J. Patterson Down Syndrome Excellence Award. This award was established to honor the career and contributions of an individual who has shown commitment to advancing the health and advocacy of individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. THANK YOU to all who attended the 2026 DSMIG-USA Annual Symposium in Orlando, Florida! It was great to reconnect for a few days of learning, sharing, and growth.
