DSMIG-USA is an association for professionals in many disciplines who provide care to individuals with Down Syndrome, as well as their families.

Our members include physicians, clinic coordinatores, scientists, psychologists, nurses, educators, and more.

As part of the DSMIG-USA Annual Symposium in July, Katie Frank, PhD, OTR/L, was awarded the Bonnie J. Patterson Down Syndrome Excellence Award. This award was established to honor the career and contributions of an individual who has shown commitment to advancing the health and advocacy of individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Congratulations, Katie!

With 193 attendees across seven countries, 32 US states, and 15 different medical specialties, the 2026 DSMIG-USA Annual Symposium in Orlando, Florida, was officially the largest DSMIG meeting to date! Thank you to everyone who joined us this year to create such a valuable event and learning environment.
