Women’s Health: Finding Balance Through Acupuncture

Our bodies are constantly changing—and sometimes they let us know that something is out of balance.

Changes in your menstrual cycle, painful or unusually heavy periods, PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, or the transition through perimenopause and menopause can all affect how you feel in your body and how you move through everyday life.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we don't look at these symptoms in isolation. We look at the whole person.

The menstrual cycle itself can offer valuable information about the body's overall balance. Rather than simply trying to quiet an individual symptom, acupuncture works within the framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine to support the body's natural processes and encourage greater balance.

🌿 Some of the women's health concerns we commonly support include:

• Menstrual irregularities
Cycles that are unusually short, long, heavy, light, painful, or absent.

• PMS
Including cramping, bloating, irritability, mood changes, and other symptoms that appear around your cycle.

• Endometriosis
Acupuncture may be used as part of a supportive approach to managing pain and other symptoms associated with endometriosis.

• PCOS
Supporting cycle regularity, reproductive health, and overall balance.

• Perimenopause & Menopause
Acupuncture has long been used to support women through the changes that can accompany this transition, including hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disruption, and mood changes.

At Two Rivers, our approach is individualized and rooted in listening. Your symptoms, your history, your stage of life, and how you're feeling today all become part of the conversation.

You don't have to simply accept feeling uncomfortable because someone tells you it's “normal.”

Your body is communicating with you. Acupuncture can be one way to listen. đź’›

🌿 ACUPUNCTURE + SOUND HEALING
Two healing modalities. One deeply restorative experience.

Imagine settling into acupuncture while the room around you begins to vibrate with the sounds of crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other therapeutic instruments.

As you rest comfortably with acupuncture needles in place, the sound journey unfolds around you—giving you an opportunity to let go, quiet the mind, and simply receive.

There is no need to do anything.

No talking. No moving from one treatment to another.

Just acupuncture + sound + deep rest.

✨ Why experience both?

Acupuncture offers a therapeutic practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, while sound creates an immersive environment that invites relaxation and stillness.

Together, they create a unique opportunity to support both body and mind in one beautiful experience.

Two healing experiences, thoughtfully combined into one evening of care—making it easier and more accessible to receive both.

COME. LIE DOWN. RECEIVE.

You'll be guided into a comfortable position and receive a standardized acupuncture treatment designed specifically for this group experience. While your needles are in place, Pamela will lead you through a deeply restorative sound journey.

No previous acupuncture or sound healing experience is necessary.

✨ Find Your Practice at Two Rivers ✨

Yoga at Two Rivers isn't about fitting yourself into a particular kind of practice. It's about finding the practice that meets you where you are.

Whether you need to move, soften, restore, reconnect, or simply breathe, we offer several ways to practice—and we keep our regular yoga classes at an accessible price because we believe yoga should be available to everyone.

🌙 Yin Yoga
Slow down. Go inward. Create space.

A meditative practice that nourishes the joints, fascia, and energetic body. Postures are held for several minutes, inviting you to work with sensation, connective tissue, and the meridian pathways of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Yin is a beautiful choice when you're looking for stress relief, grounding, flexibility, and quiet introspection.

All levels welcome. Come as you are.

🧚🏻 Restorative Yoga
Nothing to achieve. Nowhere to rush.

Restorative Yoga is an invitation to completely soften. Supported by blankets, bolsters, and props, the body settles into gentle shapes while the nervous system is given permission to rest.

Come when you need deep relaxation, nurturing, and a little time to simply be.

No experience necessary. All levels welcome.

🌿 Gentle Flow
Move. Breathe. Reconnect.

A slow, nourishing practice combining gentle flowing sequences, mindful stretching, and breath awareness. Gentle Flow supports mobility, circulation, relaxation, and a deeper connection with your body.

A wonderful choice for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

All levels welcome. Come as you are.

🍹 Yin & Tonic
Your evening exhale.

Yin and Tonic combines gentle Yin Yoga, immersive sound healing, and a handcrafted botanical mocktail.

We'll slow down, soften the body, settle the nervous system, and then enjoy a little time to connect—or simply savor the quiet.

Come as you are. Leave feeling restored.

🪷 Acu Meridi-Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga + Meridian Theory + Acupressure

Our signature practices blends long-held Yin postures with Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian theory and gentle acupressure.

As you settle into each posture, meridian-focused guidance and hands-on acupressure can help release stagnation, encourage the flow of Qi, and deepen your connection with your body.

Hands-on acupressure is always optional.

A deeply grounding, meditative practice for those seeking a slower, therapeutic experience.

All levels welcome. Come as you are.

🌿 Find the practice that feels right for you.

You don't have to be flexible.
You don't have to be experienced.
You don't have to know exactly what you need.

Just come as you are.

Gentle Flow, Yin, and Restorative Yoga classes, online or in person, to improve flexibility, release tension, and support relaxation, balance, and stress relief for all levels.
