September 1: Mars Square Saturn
If the beginning of September feels a little frustrating, heavy, or like everything is taking more effort than it should, Mars square Saturn may be part of the reason.
The easiest way to describe this energy is like driving with one foot on the gas and the other on the brake.
Mars wants movement. It wants action, progress, answers, and momentum.
Saturn slows things down. It brings limits, responsibilities, delays, and reality checks.
So when these two planets square each other, we can feel ready to move forward while also feeling like something keeps getting in the way.
This can show up in really normal, everyday ways.
Plans may take longer than expected. Someone else may not be moving as quickly as you are. You may have less patience than usual. Small inconveniences can feel much bigger, especially if you have already been carrying a lot.
You might even have one of those moments where you think, “I have been handling everything just fine, so why is THIS the thing that is making me lose my mind?”
The important thing with this transit is not to force your way through frustration just because you want something to move faster.
Sometimes the slowdown is useful.
It can show us where we are overextending ourselves, pushing too hard, trying to control the timing, or continuing to put energy into something that needs a different approach.
If things feel slower or heavier around September 1, give yourself a little more room than usual.
You are not necessarily stuck.
You may simply be getting a very clear look at where your energy is best used, where a boundary is needed, and what is worth continuing to push for.
Mantra:
I do not have to force what is meant to move with me.
