If you have lupus the exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays can trigger skin rashes and cause systemic flare-ups that result in fatigue, joint pain, or fever. With summer and the sun in full force be sure to do what you need to do to protect yourself and not go into a flare. ~TJ

Lupus Facts
Just because you have a postitive ANA does not mean you have Lupus.

Just because you have a negative ANA does not mean you don't have Lupus.

Only 13% of individuals with a positive ANA will develop Lupus And 10% of those with a negative will develop Lupus also called seronegative sle.

ANA is just a tool that aids in determining a Lupus diagnosis.. More needs to be done to make a single test. ~TJ
