It’s wonderful to see our Connellsville office expanding to provide much-needed pediatric services to the community! Most importantly, it was great catching up with my longtime friends, Amy and Brooke. ❤️ I can’t wait to see the finished projects—not only to provide even better care for our patients, but also to create an even better workplace for two of my amazing nurse practitioners!

Sometimes I find myself looking into the eyes of a six-month-old and seeing an entire lifetime.
I wonder about the first steps still to come, the first words, the first day of school, the friendships, the heartbreaks, the victories, the family they may one day build, and the legacy they will leave behind. None of it has happened yet, and yet somehow it all feels present in that tiny smile.
As pediatrician, I meet people at the very beginning of their story. It is a humbling reminder that every life-every remarkable person who has ever lived— once began just like this: held in loving arms, discovering the world one smile at a time.

Since I was a child, music has always held a special place in my heart.

We grew up with very little, and buying an instrument like an oud seemed impossible. My father was understandably hesitant because it was such an expensive purchase for our family. But I kept asking, year after year, until I was in high school.

Looking back, that instrument became much more than wood and strings. It became my closest companion. It comforted me during difficult times, gave me peace when words couldn’t, and stayed with me through every chapter of my life.

Today, I feel grateful for the gift of music and for whatever talent I have been blessed with. It has brought me joy, healing, and a way to express feelings that are hard to put into words. Hope you enjoy this piece of music that I composed and played with my lifelong friend—the oud.
