There is a big difference between having ā€œnormalā€ testosterone levels and having ā€œoptimalā€ levels. šŸ“ˆ (see my last post if you need a refresher on the difference between normal and optimal šŸ˜‰)

Most men I see in the office aren’t looking for a magic pill—they’re just looking to feel like themselves again. If you’re struggling with brain fog, a dip in energy, or you’re noticing that your recovery after a workout isn’t what it used to be, it’s worth looking at the data.šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

Hormone optimization isn’t about ā€œhackingā€ the system; it’s about restoring what’s missing so you can show up for your job, your family, and yourself.

We start with a comprehensive lab panel to see exactly where you are. No guesswork, just science. If you’ve been feeling ā€œfineā€ but not ā€œgreat,ā€ let’s see what the numbers actually say. šŸ‹ļø

NORMAL ≠ OPTIMAL

šŸ”¬šŸ§ŖšŸ„¼ Patients will constantly get blood work with me and come back saying ā€œI’m so defeated everything came back normalā€ and I always say something like ā€œpump those breaksā€ lol ā€œnormalā€ does not mean ā€œoptimalā€.

Normal ranges are simply the average of all the patients that have went to that specific lab for that particular blood test.

Optimal range is where we know our body actually functions and thrives best.

We aren’t shooting for normal we are shooting for optimal. Unfortunately not all providers are looking at optimal many are still just settling for normal because that’s what they were taught was fine.

If you feel like your last set of labs came back ā€œnormalā€ but you still don’t feel great I encourage you to find a provider that is going to help you get to optimal not just settling for ā€œnormalā€.

Look who stopped by the office! Morgan Wallen 🤠

I figured out the real reason he had to cancel his concert on Saturday night… it wasn’t the wacky Pittsburgh weather….it was actually his LOW TESTOSTERONE! He had no energy, he was tired, and he really just had no drive to get out there and play night 2 for Pittsburgh.šŸ’¤

And remember how Friday night it took him 2 hours to get on stage because he was so ā€œover heatedā€ - yeah that thyroid is a mess! šŸ”„šŸ„µ

If you are feeling like Morgan Wallen - don’t cancel on your friends! Give me a call and I can get you feeling back to your best self! šŸ”—šŸ“žā˜Žļø

***This is a joke and obviously AI not real. *** BUT if your symptoms of low testosterone and thyroid dysfunction are REAL - seriously take the next step to come see me! You won’t regret it!

Let’s talk numbers for a second. Heart disease is still the leading cause of death for men in the U.S., but the good news is that we have better ways to measure risk than we used to. šŸ“ˆā™„ļøšŸ«€

While basic blood work is great, I’m a big advocate for the Coronary Calcium Score. Unlike a standard cholesterol test that tells us what’s floating in your blood, a Calcium Score is a quick, non-invasive scan that shows us exactly what’s happening in your arteries right now. It looks for calcified plaque—the actual ā€œrustā€ in the pipes.

It’s one of the best ways to know if your lifestyle and ā€œmaintenanceā€ are actually working, or if we need to adjust the plan before a problem starts.

If you’re over 40 (or younger with a family history), this is a 10-minute scan that can completely change your health strategy. Let’s talk about getting you an order this month.

āž”ļøCoronary calcium score is not just for men! It’s a great screening tool for women as well!
