What if I told you that most women aren’t over-fat?

They’re under-muscled.

That’s a completely different problem.

For years we’ve been told to focus on losing weight. Eat less. Do more cardio. Make the number on the scale smaller.

But muscle is the real game changer.

Muscle helps regulate blood sugar.
Muscle supports your metabolism.
Muscle improves insulin sensitivity.
Muscle protects your bones.
Muscle helps prevent falls.
Muscle helps you stay independent as you age.

Muscle is one of the biggest predictors of how well you’ll live in your 70s, 80s, and beyond.

Unfortunately, many women lose muscle every time they go on another restrictive diet.

The scale goes down.
But so does their strength.
So does their metabolism.
So does their resilience.

I don’t want to help women get smaller.

I want to help women get stronger.

I want you to be 80 years old and still carry your own groceries.
Get off the floor without assistance.
Travel.
Play with your grandkids.
Live independently.

The goal isn’t just weight loss.

The goal is to build the organ of longevity.

That organ is muscle.

As humans, we were never meant to do life alone.

We were meant to belong.

To encourage each other.
To celebrate wins together.
To pick each other up when life gets hard.
To learn from people who are walking a similar path.

One of my favorite things about The Sposato Method has been watching women realize they’re not alone.

They’re not the only one struggling with sleep.
They’re not the only one dealing with menopause.
They’re not the only one frustrated with belly fat.
They’re not the only one trying to figure out how to prioritize themselves after years of taking care of everyone else.

Something amazing happens when women come together.

Confidence grows.
Knowledge grows.
Strength grows.

And suddenly goals that felt impossible start to feel achievable.

This week one woman shared a personal best bike ride.
Another is sleeping 8 hours instead of 5.
Another doubled her daily steps.
Another finally has regular digestion and more energy than she’s had in years.

Those wins didn’t happen because they were perfect.

They happened because they showed up.

And because they had people cheering them on.

That’s exactly why I’m building the Stronger After 40 Community.

Not another diet.
Not another challenge.

A place where women can continue learning, growing, supporting each other, and becoming stronger together.
