Last month at our monthly meeting our speaker, Eugene Makovec, shared some of his favorite summertime tips. One was putting casters on your extractor to smooth the ride. I removed our plywood base and put the casters on, it’s a game changer! Thanks Eugene!

What an amazing article about pollinators and the Eastern Missouri Beekeepers Association’s learning yard at the Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis. We have an amazing community of local beekeepers!

At the Danforth Center's six-acre reconstructed prairie, a decade-long partnership with the Eastern Missouri Beekeepers Association has created a unique urban prairie beekeeping learning yard where hands-on education and habitat restoration go hand in hand.
