Big news from the OVDRA Conference! We are beyond proud to share that Kay and Monica have officially earned their COVT certification - Certified Optometric Vision Therapist. That means all four of our full-time vision therapists are now COVT-certified! The COVT is earned after 2+ years in vision therapy, writing 9 research papers, and passing both a written exam and an in-person interview. Kay and Monica absolutely passed with flying colors.
And the celebrations don't stop there - our Associate Doctor, Lauren Goettemoeller, has become board-certified with her FOVDR fellowship (Fellowship in Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation). Dr. Goettemoeller earned this by writing 9 papers and passing both a written and in-person exam. She has worked so hard over the past year, and we couldn't be more proud. Congratulations to an incredible team! 💙
