A lot of the redness has already improved after the first session—which is why the brown pigmentation may appear more noticeable right now. It’s not necessarily darker… it’s just becoming more visible now that the red tones have calmed down.
We did treat both concerns during this appointment, but brown pigmentation typically takes longer to break up and fade than redness.
This is exactly why we always talk about treatment plans—not quick fixes. Most patients need at least 2 sessions (sometimes more depending on the skin concern) to get the best outcome.
