Hello friends,

Thinking of each of you this July. Whether you're in treatment, supporting someone you love, or navigating survivorship, please know you’re in our hearts. Wishing you and your families a safe and meaningful Fourth of July.

We’re also excited to share that our group now operates under the fiscal sponsorship of the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico (CFSNM), a registered 501(c)(3). More updates will follow as the transition continues.

Here’s what’s happening this month:
*
Saturday, July 11 – Coffee Meet Up at 10am, 3981 Bataan Memorial W, Las Cruces.
*
Saturday, July 25 – In‑Person Support Group Meeting 10am, Open to all affected by cancer. Memorial Medical Center (MMC), Annex meeting rooms downstairs (west side hospital entrance).
*
Monday, July 27 -Virtual Support Group Meeting at 6pm. Available to all affected by cancer and who prefers meeting online or lives outside Las Cruces. Zoom link will be shared closer to the date.

Outdoor Activities: Weekly Walking Group & Monthly Hiking Group- Will not meet in July, stay cool indoors!

Community Events-
Gentle Movement Classes available to cancer patients, cancer thrivers, cancer survivors and co-cancer survivors:
Mondays at 12pm, MMC Annex meeting rooms downstairs (west side hospital entrance) FREE
Wednesdays at 5:30pm, MMC Annex meeting rooms downstairs (west side hospital entrance) FREE
Fridays at 3pm, Dwell Yoga Studio 424 N. Main St Suite #900 (Donations appreciated)

This retreat is open only to women with Stage IV breast cancer who live in New Mexico, Texas Panhandle, or Southern Colorado.

🌟 Celebrating National Cancer Survivor’s Day & Cancer Survivors Month 🌟

In recognition of National Cancer Survivor’s Day (Sunday, June 7) and Cancer Survivors Month (June), Memorial Medical Center is hosting a special celebration tomorrow, Saturday, June 6, at the Annex meeting rooms (west side entrance).

This FREE event is open to all cancer survivors and their families, regardless of where you received your care.
Join us as we come together to connect with fellow survivors, share stories, participate in uplifting activities, and celebrate the milestones, big and small, that mark your journey.

Cancer Survivors Month is a time to honor the strength, resilience, and courage of survivors while raising awareness of the challenges that continue beyond treatment.

If you’re unable to attend tomorrow, we’d still love to see you at our upcoming group events. You can find more information in our June Newsletter posted in our "Featured" section and "Files" section at the top of our Facebook group page.
