As Supportive Housing Week comes to a close, Douglas County, Kansas Government shares Mark and Tank's story, who attained stability with the help of supportive housing.

We’re wrapping up our Supportive Housing Week series with Mark’s journey. Mark, 67, and his dog, Tank, now have a safe, accessible home in North Lawrence thanks to Tenants to Homeowners. After living in his truck, Mark says this new beginning has “saved” his life. ❤

Join us for a follow-up conversation on birth outcomes in Douglas County on September 17th from 6-7:30pm in Flory Meeting Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Together, we will build on what we learned in April at our first birth outcomes conversation. All are welcome to attend, whether or not you attended the meeting in April.

Thank you to LMH Health, LiveWell Douglas County, Early Childhood Collective of Douglas County, and especially to those who shared their experiences at April's Public Health After Dark. Making progress on birth outcomes takes community action. We couldn't do it without you!

This conversation will focus on the following themes:
- Advancing policy actions that support healthy pregnancies, births, and families.
- Pulling together actionable data that can guide decision-making, identify disparities, and measure progress.
-Expanding access to person-centered care, ensuring every family feels heard, respected, and supported.

Please RSVP at this link: https://bit.ly/4ghFdFm
RSVPing is not required but encouraged.
