📅 Mark your calendar for 988 Day on September 8!

Knowing where to turn in a crisis can make all the difference. 💚

In preparation of 988 Day, take a moment to save these numbers in your phone and share them with someone you care about:

📞 988 — Call or text the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7.
📞 (812) 532-2595 — INcompass Healthcare’s local Crisis Team, available 24/7.

Whether you’re experiencing a crisis, feeling overwhelmed, or worried about someone you love, you don’t have to face it alone.

💚 Save the numbers. Share the message. Know that help is available.

💜 International Overdose Awareness Day | August 31 💜

Every life matters. Today, we honor those we have lost, support those impacted by substance use, and stand with individuals and families on the journey to recovery.

Overdose does not discriminate and neither should access to care. Compassion, connection, and support can save lives.

At INcompass, we’re here to provide hope, healing, and a path forward. To learn more about our recovery services, visit incompasshc.org.

What does exceptional care mean to you?
To me it means going above and beyond our scope of care. It doesn't even have to be anything huge or overreaching. Even small things like getting a client a cup of water or listening to them talk about their next vacation or their new grandbaby, while we help them really does make a difference.

What advice would you give to a new team member?
I would tell them to remember we are the first people our clients meet when they come into the office to get services and to remember to always be kind and patient because you never know what someone is going through when they come in.

What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
I really enjoy going to the movies or playing video games on my days off. I also love traveling, exploring new places, and spending time with my friends and family.

Vaccines are one of the safest and most effective ways to protect yourself, your family, and your community from serious diseases.

Whether you're preparing for back-to-school season, managing a chronic condition, or simply staying on top of your health, keeping immunizations up to date is an important part of preventive care.

At INcompass Healthcare, we believe that good health starts with prevention. Talk with your healthcare provider about recommended vaccines for children, teens, adults, and older adults.

✅ Protect yourself
✅ Protect your loved ones
✅ Protect your community

Schedule your wellness visit today and stay current on the vaccinations recommended for you. Visit incompasshc.org to find an INcompass location near you!

Hot days call for extra hydration! ☀️💦
Wondering if you're drinking enough water? Hear from our Nurse Practitioner, Leslie Bailey, about why staying hydrated is essential when temperatures rise.
⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️

Hot weather can quickly lead to dehydration and heat-related illness, especially in older adults, young children, people with chronic medical conditions, and those who work or exercise outdoors.

To stay hydrated, aim to drink about 8–12 cups (64–96 ounces) of water each day, and even more if you are sweating heavily. Don't wait until you feel thirsty to drink. Signs of dehydration include dry mouth, dark-colored urine, dizziness, headache, fatigue, and decreased urination.

Contact your primary care provider if you experience persistent dehydration, repeated vomiting, worsening weakness, or symptoms of heat exhaustion that do not improve after cooling down and drinking fluids.
