The Levy Incubator is proud to announce our next cohort of innovative projects, with a special focus on transforming primary care through partnerships with community-based services.

This year’s selected projects reflect a bold commitment to reimagining how care is provided—bringing our care teams closer to the people and communities we serve.

We are thrilled to support the following initiatives:

--Building a Sustainable Primary Care–Led Palliative Care Model for Patients at High Risk of Unwanted Aggressive Care (Julia Burdick, Jiazuo Henry Feng)
--Integrating Primary Care into a Community-Based Mental Health Setting (Jamie Plimpton, Laurie Mudge)
--Building Bridges – Enhancing Harm Reduction Outreach with Primary Care Services (Alena Shoemaker, Cory Howarth)

Join us for this year's Levy Incubator Community Pitch Night on July 10th at 4PM in Auditorium H or via Zoom. Applicants will pitch problems they would like to solve in one year. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions, vote on their favorite pitches, and mingle at the reception following.

We had a successful kick-off retreat on Jan 7th for our third cohort of projects! We are pleased to welcome the new team members to the Levy Incubator.

The three projects to receive funding in 2022 are as follows:
-The PACS Partnership: Bringing the D-H Promise to Post-Acute COVID Syndrome Care led byJeffrey Parsonnet, MD and Brant Oliver, PhD, MS, MPH, APRN-BC
-Establishing and Evaluating a Program to Improve Access to Behavioral Healthcare in GI led by Jessica Salwen-Deremer, PhD and Corey Siegel, MD, MS
-Understanding Barriers and Facilitators of Lung Cancer Screening in Rural Populations to Facilitate Implementation of Targeted Marketing Strategies to Increase Enrollment led by Rian Hasson, MD, MPH and Karen Schifferdecker, PhD, MPH
