Amanda & Jamie Conkin are the visionaries behind Rays. Amanda has grown up having many of her own aura photos taken in Sedona AZ since she was a kid, and as an adult became particularly interested in using this special tool to help show others their colorful selves. Officially beginning in February of 2020, Rays has brought much joy to its creators and visitors alike.

✨️ 𝙷𝙾𝚆 𝙳𝙾 𝚆𝙴 𝙲𝙰𝙿𝚃𝚄𝚁𝙴 𝙰𝚄𝚁𝙰𝚂? ✨️

Kirlian photography is a way to create images of coronal discharges around an object. A coronal discharge is an electrical discharge caused by the ionization of gas or fluid surrounding an object. These discharges often look like an energy field or a halo around the subject, so some people consider Kirlian photos a kind of aura photography. To achieve the halo effect, the photographer lays an object onto an electrified photographic plate or film. This model was used when these cameras were created. They take the electrodermal readings from the silver on the plates and they pick up on your vibrational state. The vibration and the electricity create an image of the energy around your body and the long exposure film creates an image of the aura itself.

Join us for a magical evening celebrating the return of 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝟐! Before heading to the theater together, we’ll spend the evening creating 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐤 inspired by the cozy domestic witchcraft of the Owens women:

Come dressed in your best Owens-witch-inspired attire if you’d like, sip Midnight Margarita Mocktails!!, work with beautiful herbs and botanicals, and spend the evening crafting alongside your fellow witches.

All materials are included, and everyone will leave with all three of their handmade magical creations!

Join us for our first evening of tarot, tea, and community as we gather to explore the magic of a new mystery tarot deck.

Each guest will receive a beautifully wrapped surprise tarot deck to unwrap together, featuring unique indie and lesser-known tarot decks chosen to inspire curiosity, intuition, and meaningful conversation. We'll spend the evening admiring the artwork, discussing our impressions, learning about the deck's symbolism, and offering mini readings for ourselves and one another in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

As part of the experience, you'll also create your own custom loose-leaf tea blend inspired by the energy and personality of your mystery deck. Choose from a variety of herbs, flowers, spices, and teas to craft a blend that's uniquely yours, then enjoy a warm cup during our gathering and take the rest home to continue your practice.
