BLACKWORK TATTOO STUDIO SHOP ETIQUETTE

1. NO CHILDREN
Due to space and safety precautions, we do not allow children of any age in the shop. All shops have bio hazardous materials.
(1151)

Welcome to our page and our studio, one of North Jersey's premiere tattoo & body piercing shops. We provide a modern, clean & friendly environment with private rooms.Open 7 days a week & walkins are always welcome. Our artists are some of New Jersey's Best. Although we keep it contained, we do not want to take a chance of a child coming in contact with these materials. Children are a distraction not only to the parents but to our clients and staff. The shop is not a playground or a daycare. As we try to keep the shop as professional as possible, the music and conversations may not be appropriate for your child.
2. PLEASE only one person in the booth WITH YOU!! We understand that clients sometimes need moral support however; a group of people that aren't getting anything done is very distracting to our staff and artists. Many shops don’t allow clients to be accompanied by any friends or family. In our shop, we ask that you limit your company to 1 (one) person in the booth with you.
3. BRING REFERENCE MATERIAL
Feel free to bring reference photos with you during your consultation. This will help the artist produce the best artwork and experience for you.
4. DON’T BARGAIN OR HAGGLE PRICING
Bottom line, you get what you pay for. Good tattoos aren’t cheap and cheap tattoos aren’t good. This also goes for piercings.
5. TIP YOUR ARTIST/PIERCER
We’re providing a service to you. Tips are greatly appreciated.
6. WEAR APPROPRIATE/COMFORTABLE CLOTHING
Please dress the part. For an example, if you’re getting your foot tattooed, wearing Uggs or heels are inappropriate. If you’re getting your thigh tattooed, shorts or a skirt (with shorts underneath) are a best bet. Also, please do not wear your favorite article of clothing. We try to be as neat as possible but your clothing could be ruined by the ink.
7. HYGIENE
Please come as you would to a doctor’s office. Bad hygiene is a distraction and can make other clients, staff, and artist uncomfortable.
8. DO NOT COME INTOXICATED
Clients that come in intoxicated will be refused immediately. We do not tattoo or pierce anyone who is under the influence of drugs and alcohol. No exceptions.
9. BE COURTEOUS TO OTHER
Loud and obnoxious behavior is a distraction as our artists are focusing on giving all our clients the best experience possible. Please be considerate to everyone in the shop. YOUR COOPERATION, BUSINESS, AND LOYALTY IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
