We are deeply saddened by the passing of Marvin Zeidler. He and his wife Judy were founding members of The Masket Foundation. Marvin was not only instrumental in helping establish our organization, but was also a longtime mentor and dear friend to Dr. Samuel Masket and Barbara Masket.

His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support helped shape the foundation’s mission and impact over the years. We are grateful for his legacy and the countless lives he touched.

Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Over half of Americans develop cataracts by age 80, causing blurry vision that can eventually lead to total blindness if left untreated. The average surgery costs around $1,500 PER EYE, which is unaffordable to many who need the care.

Take a look at a typical day in the clinic with our fellow, Dr Mansoor!

At this clinic, we met with 5 patients— 4 for cataracts and 1 for an artificial iris implant. Their surgeries are scheduled for June, and we can’t wait to help them on their journey to clear vision.
