Happy Wednesday, Fit Fam! It's time to spotlight, Fern Creek member John Boylan who started his Fit Body journey in August 2022 while still recovering from what many of us experienced after COVID. Here is his story:

"I had already lost some weight and knew I wanted to create consistency in my fitness routine, especially with another college basketball officiating season approaching. I began attending afternoon sessions before eventually transitioning to morning workouts. As I became more involved with Fit Body, I also incorporated the Clean Eatz meal prep program to help support my goals and maintain healthier habits.

While there have certainly been times throughout my journey when I wanted to lose a few extra pounds, my primary focus has always been consistency. For me, it’s about showing up each day, building positive habits, and creating a routine that helps me become the best version of myself.

Fit Body has given me accountability, structure, and confidence. It helps me start each day with purpose, and I feel better physically and mentally because of it. It has also allowed me to enjoy life’s occasional treats without guilt, knowing I’ve already invested in my health by getting up and putting in the work.

Most importantly, I am grateful for the incredible people who have been part of this journey. Through all the changes over the years, so many members have continued to show up, encourage one another, and create a positive environment where everyone feels supported. The sense of community is what makes this place special.

The journey isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being consistent. I’m thankful to be surrounded by people who continue to inspire each other to show up, work hard, and keep moving forward one day at a time."

Happy Wednesday, Fit Fam! It’s time to spotlight Fern Creek twin sisters, Amber and Farrah, who came in wanting to get stronger after having babies and stuck together ever since. Here is their story:

“We didn’t come in needing to lose any weight. We just wanted to get stronger and get our bodies moving again. Because if you don’t move it, you lose it lose it. We love how convenient FBBC is. Getting our workout done in 30 minutes is the best especially when you have kids.

My sister and I love working out together as well it’s like a team player and motivator keep eachother going. Our cousin has been a member there for years and talked us in to getting back into to working out and so we started back and have continued ever since. We love the coaches and the workouts are great!”
