Kentucky Cancer Program - West Established in 1982 by the KY General Assembly, KCP is a unique cancer control network staffed by cancer control specialists.

We focus on prevention and early detection; patient and family services; and professional education and training. KCP operates through a network of 13 regional offices staffed by trained and experienced cancer control specialists who provide local leadership on cancer prevention and control initiatives for all of Kentucky’s 120 counties. KCP works closely with the Kentucky Cancer Registry and 15 D

istrict Cancer Councils across the state to identify and develop interventions/solutions to address cancer problems in their communities.
