We are so proud of Curtis for achieving his goal of earning his drivers license and being recognized and celebrated for this major accomplishment!

The “communication impediment” designation on a drivers license is an important step toward greater inclusion. It helps alert law enforcement that an individual may need additional support, patience, or an alternative communication method during an interaction.

We are proud to celebrate Curtis and the steps being taken to create a more inclusive and understanding community!

Texas driver’s licenses now feature optional indicators for communication impediments or hearing loss to assist law enforcement during traffic stops.

Today, we celebrate and champion our Villagers and all individuals living with Cerebral Palsy. We recognize the incredible contributions they make to the communities around them and, especially, to High Point Village!

We recognize their resilience, strength, and determination in navigating the many challenges they face daily. Most importantly, we celebrate their unique abilities, accomplishments, personalities, and the joy they bring to everyone around them! ✨💚

One of our favorite outings of the year is going to the South Plains Fair! 🎡🎠✨

This past week, our Villagers had a BLAST at the fair! From enjoying all the yummy fair food to admiring the beautiful artwork and petting all the sweet animals, it was a day full of fun!!🤩
