At The Center for Patient Partnerships, students have the opportunity to create meaningful change for patients while developing skills in advocacy and health justice.

Over the past year, Ash Eisen, a recent UW-Madison Master of Social Work graduate, worked with the Health Justice Clinic to support patients navigating insurance barriers to gender-affirming care and helped develop a resource guide to empower patients in understanding their coverage options.

The Center for Patient Partnerships (CPP) seeks a manager
advocate for the new rural health insurance program. The mission of this new program is to support patients in using health
insurance and coverage to gain timely, effective, and accessible health
care in rural Wisconsin communities. The position will
coordinate this new endeavor, lead helpline intake, one-on-one consumer
education efforts and brief intervention advocacy services to qualifying
clients to support access to health care.
