This race showed me what it was like to truly feel unstoppable! My breath, my heart, and my intuition was my guide and I dropped deeply into love and trust.

I ran without a watch. And when crossed the finish line and saw that the time matched my vibe, I couldn't believe it.

✨3rd place in my age group
✨3 minute personal best
✨1:23:41 (number feels special too🤍✨)
✨ an incredible race experience that will always show me how powerful it is to move from a place of deep love and trust

I had this moment during the sandbag lunges, where I kept getting emotional. I couldn't believe what I was doing. I was just so proud! 🥹

As I approached my last run lap, I didn't want it to end. I kept saying "enjoy this, take in this feeling, take in this moment!"

I then went to finish those 100 wall balls with such steadiness that it blew me away 🔥 (the 16-9 method works!)

And when I crossed that finish line, SO MANY happy tears.

These races teach you so much about how to move through this world. This will forever be a gift to me 🥹

Thank you for an incredible race!

Before your race, you have to prepare for the pain cave. Figure out your plan of how to create space for yourself.

I created the Rolling Hills Card from the Oracle for Runners Card for this reason. Because how you navigate the pain cave determines your race.

Rolling Hills
Honor Your Needs

Panic radiates through the runner’s body,
As they see the rolling hills approach,

The incline steadily increases,
The runner’s legs become heavy,
They becomes breathless in navigating the added effort,

Yet, the runners’ foot striking the ground never stops,
Nor slows down,
It actually begins to move in a more fluid-like motion,

The runner is forced to face what they need,
How to talk to themselves,
How to hold themselves,
How to motivate themselves,
How to soften in what feels like defeat,

It’s not how they push through pain,
It’s the space they create to be in it.

Affirmation: Pain brings you purpose.

Reflection: What are your reactions when you experience pain? How can you support yourself?
