I’m temporarily out of office but still available behind the scenes💉✨
From 4/22-4/24 I’m away for a quick trip out of state and then returning to celebrate our little guy turning 4 on Friday. Response times may vary while I trade syringes for snacks, birthday vibes, and mama mode.

Still outside, still alive, and BACK from the household virus apocalypse 💀☀️

Also while I was busy crawling back to civilization, FEMME FATALE AESTHETICS by MZ officially turned 3 on Friday 4/10 !!!!!

AND since my birthday is THIS Friday 4/17, we’re just going to do THE only reasonable thing and combine the celebrations because obviously one party felt too calm 💋

…truthfully, underneath the sass and survival tour, I’m just really damn grateful.
3 years as a solo business owner and nurse injector in aesthetics is NOT for the weak. There have been plenty of moments this past year, and even these last few months, where I’ve questioned my sanity, my talent, my purpose, and fought off that RUDE little voice telling me I’m not enough.

BUT sometimes you have to have a full come-to-jesus talk with yourself, gather your lost mojo by the lash extensions (all the extensions)and remember exactly who the F YOU ARE✨

…and somewhere in all of this, I know little Mir would be really f’ing proud.🖤

If I’ve been a little incognito, it’s because the nastiest stomach bug imaginable has ripped through our house like a wrecking ball. 🦠

It hit our little guy first, even resulting with an ER visit, and now hubby and I are both down for the count too. Fever, body aches, stomach misery, exhaustion… truly the RUDEST possible lineup. I don’t remember the last time my body has hurt like this for this many days straight.

So if replies have been delayed, just know I’m not ignoring anyone, I’m simply being personally victimized by whatever demonic plague moved into our home this week/weekend. 😵‍💫

Three years ago today, I did something that felt wildly irresponsible on paper and absolutely necessary in my SOUL 🔥

I walked away from a steady paycheck.
From predictability.
From the comfort of knowing exactly what would hit my bank account every two weeks.(+ those extra commissions at month end)

I walked away from a company I once loved. One I helped build in a brand new BEAUTIFUL location. One that shaped me in those early years and gave me some of the fiercest, MOST beautiful connections of my career. (You know who you are💋)

But once the owners sold it was acquired, & something shifted.

Decisions were made from “uppers” out of state.
Quotas got louder.
Patient care got quieter.
And somewhere in the shuffle, I went from Miranda… to an employee ID number with a production target attached.

That never sat right with me.

Because I don’t see faces as numbers. I don’t see appointments as time slots to fill. I don’t see care as something to rush through.

I valued myself more than that.
I valued my patients more than that.

So I bet on autonomy.
On integrity.
On doing things the right way, not the fastest way.
On creating a space where time is intentional and care is never compromised.
On building something that felt aligned instead of assigned.
