Thermography is far more than simply taking thermal images. It is a highly specialized physiological imaging modality, and the quality of the assessment depends entirely on the methodology and interpretation standards behind it.
At TDI, we follow established thermographic frameworks developed over decades, including:
• Standardized imaging protocols
• Thermal stress testing (cold challenge) where appropriate
• Structured analysis using recognized grading systems such as TH grading
• Consistent, experience-based interpretation
These are not “extra” steps — they are essential components of producing reliable, clinically meaningful assessments.
In recent years, simplified or low-cost approaches to thermography have become more common, often positioning thermography as a general wellness tool while omitting key elements of established protocols. Although these approaches may appear more accessible, they can reduce the consistency, depth, and clinical usefulness of the results.
Thermography, when performed properly, is a physiological assessment tool that requires rigor, experience, and adherence to validated standards.
Our commitment remains focused on quality, consistency, and integrity of interpretation — because in thermography, how the study is performed and interpreted matters just as much as the technology itself.
