We've been counting down the days until we get to see our Little Learner again, and lucky for us, it's just a few more days! Our Little Learners 2.0 starts up this Saturday and we still have spots available!

Our little learners will be engaging in play-based activities focusing on early reading and math skills, fine motor and speech, and our parents will be diving into potty training, IEPs, relationships with educators, school readiness and behaviors!

Join us Tomorrow, September 5th for our next Empowered Families Webinar!
We're so excited to welcome Dr. Mike Pappas from Children's Intensive Caring. Dr. Mike Pappas has dedicated more than three decades to caring for children, with 34 years of experience in general pediatrics and 30 years serving in pediatric intensive care. After years of providing compassionate care in hospital settings, he opened his own practice in 2001, which is proudly celebrating 25 years of serving families and the community this year. His commitment, expertise, and passion for children’s health continue to make a lasting impact.

He'll be discussing evidence-based strategies to support immune health, including nutrition, sleep, physical activity, stress management, vaccinations, hygiene, and when supplements may or may not be appropriate. We can also address common questions specific to children with Down syndrome, such as increased susceptibility to respiratory infections and practical ways to reduce illness during the school year.

We're very excited to welcome Ana Pacheco to the DSAGT office as our new Community Impact Intern. Ana will be spending Tuesday afternoons with us, helping out around the office, connecting with families, donors and the community and helping to advocate for individuals with Down syndrome like herself.

September arrives tomorrow and we are in store for some exciting programs! We're kicking things off this Saturday, with Dr. Mike Pappas to discuss keeping kids healthy and boosting their immune systems, just in time for back to school!

Our little learners program starts back up with session 2.0 on September 12th, and that evening we're inviting our DSAGT Dad's to get together for some football, refreshments on the patio, and good company at Dale's Bar & Grill.

And, you won't want to miss our Annual Family Fall Outing happening on September 19th!

Who remembers when the Buddy Walk was held at Fifth Third Field??

Today we're throwing it back to the 2016 Toledo Buddy Walk, which was DSAGT's 15th anniversary of the annual event. Attendees enjoyed pre-walk activities around the concourse of the baseball stadium and then gathered together for the Buddy Walk around Downtown Toledo.
