Taking registrations for September trainings. Going to change it up a bit. Rather than 2 consecutive Fridays for the trainings, will do 2 consecutive days for September.
New to CAT? Then Orientation to Core Attachment Therapy© is for you. A two day virtual training from Sept. 24th-25th. Day 1 is 6 hours to intro to The Nurtured Heart Approach® and Day 2 is 6 hour orientation to the attachment games for 12 CEUs.

If you are already familiar with CAT, then consider the Certifcation Program. It begins on Sept 24th with a 6 hour virtual training on the Nurtured Heart Approach. It continues with a self-paced, module based learning on the intricacies of the attachment games. The learning continues with experiential method of using the process on a client you already have who has developmental trauma. An excellent way of taking the deep dive into CAT©. You will leave the training with 18 CEUs with the option to then continue to become a practitioner in CAT.

Don't let another month slip by without signing up for 1 of the 2 Core Attachment Therapy© trainings. CAT is a very practical methodology, a prescriptive play therapy approach to help children with developmental trauma experience the emotional growth of secure attachment.

The first one for those of you interest in CAT is the Orientation Training. This is a 12 hour live webinar training. It introduces you to Component 1 which is The Nurtured Heart Approach®. NHA® has intentionally been added to this process because it puts parents in the driver's seat of the home rather than the child's chaotic behavior of insecure attachment. Secure attachment can only happen when the child relinquishes control and NHA® gets families there quite quickly. The training then continues with Component 2 which is the attachment games. These games replicate the normal attachment development process. Children respond amazingly when this void they have in their hearts gets filled.

For those of you already familiar with CAT, then the Certification Program is for you. It starts like the Intro Training but then continues with a self-paced, web-based learning along with experiential expereinces for you to leave fully knowledgeable in the process of CAT.

Besides training for Core Attachment Therapy©, I have other products that will help your play therapy practice. One that transforms a child's/teen's inner dialogue is Ka-POWer cards. It presents a word of strength and challenges the child/teen to discuss how that strength helps them in the world, to then challenge him/her to use that strength when things get tough, to then notice that same strength in others. When the child/teen can successfully utilize this strength and see it in others, it becomes their Ka-POWer! Parents are engaged in this process as well. It helps them shift out of the problem and into the solution. In other words, "Be It! See it! Own it!"

Registration continues for July's trainings on Core Attachment Therapy©. The first is the orientation training and the one is the certification program. If you want to know more about CAT, the orientation training will be the best one for you.
