Your face. Your features. Your choice.

Some clients LOVE their chin dimple.
Others? They book chin filler. šŸ˜

This client came in bothered by the dimple/cleft in her chin—something that can become even more noticeable with certain facial expressions. We also noted some asymmetry in her chin that was more noticeable from certain angles in her before photos.

By strategically placing filler, we were able to:
✨ Soften the central chin dimple
✨ Improve asymmetry
✨ Create a smoother contour
✨ Add subtle projection and structure
✨ Improve overall lower-face balance

But here’s the important part: a chin dimple isn’t something that needs to be ā€œfixed.ā€

If you love yours, we’re keeping it! I may recommend treating the chin when additional projection, structure, or proportion is needed for facial balancing—but that doesn’t mean we have to erase the features that make you, YOU.

For this client, she wanted hers softened—so that’s exactly what we did.

My people definitely know that I’m not in it for the money.

Am I triggered? YES šŸ˜‚
Is this me being petty? Also yes šŸ‘

But since we’re talking about what things ā€œshouldā€ cost, let’s talk about what it actually costs to run a business.

The rent.
Liability insurance.
Malpractice insurance.
Equipment.
Supplies.
Products.
Licensing.
Education.
And about 472 other things nobody sees.

And don’t forget—I have an employee.

Me. šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

His job description includes injector, receptionist, office manager, inventory manager, content creator, social media manager, customer service…and apparently working from home at night after the actual workday ends.

And that business owner/employee also has to survive this little thing called life.

Keeping the lights on at home. Food on the table. Gas in the tank. After-school care and summer camps for our son—so I can continue working to provide for him in the first place.

I have worked incredibly hard to build a business that allows me to provide for my family while doing something I genuinely love.

And through all of it, I have—and will continue to—stay in my lane.

As a person.
As a husband.
As a dad.
As a business owner.
And as an injector.

I know what it costs to run my business. I know the value of my time, education, experience and expertise. And I would NEVER tell another professional what theirs should be worth.

To the people who understand that: thank you. šŸ–¤
And to the people who don’t stay in their lane…I truly hope you have the day you deserve. šŸ˜˜šŸ‘

I knew she would be a problem…
She’s been watching me for years from across the hal

Here we are now 🤣 and she already wants more!

We stayed conservative—replacing lost volume to certain areas of the cheek, adding definition to her jawline, a little pop for the lips, and now we wait for her tox to kick in šŸ™Œ

Sometimes it’s not your attitude…
It’s just your face 😜

Two muscles that can contribute to a downturned, heavy or ā€œunhappyā€ appearance in the lower face are the DAO muscles + platysma.

šŸ’‰ DAO Tox
The depressor anguli oris (DAO) muscles pull the corners of the mouth downward. Carefully placed tox can reduce that downward pull, helping the corners of the mouth rest in a more neutral—and sometimes subtly lifted—position.

šŸ’‰ Platysma Tox
The platysma is a large muscle that extends from the lower face down into the neck. Its pull can contribute to:
• Downward tension on the jawline
• Prominent neck bands
• Less definition along the lower face
• A heavier or more tense appearance

Relaxing specific areas of the platysma can help soften neck bands, reduce downward pull and create a smoother, more defined transition from the jawline into the neck.

✨ Treating the DAO + platysma together can help:
• Soften a downturned mouth
• Create a more relaxed resting expression
• Improve lower-face balance
• Reduce visible platysmal bands
• Enhance jawline definition
• Reduce some of the downward muscular pull contributing to lower-face aging

This is what you call a ā€œliquid rhinoā€ā€ØA nose job…without the downtime

One of my FAVORITE treatments—and probably one of the most misunderstood.

SWIPE āž”ļøāž”ļøāž”ļø to see some of my favorite ones!

The ā€œLiquid Noseā€ uses strategically placed dermal filler (and sometimes a little tox) to create the illusion of a straighter, slimmer, more balanced nose—without surgery.

Depending on your anatomy and goals, we may be able to:

✨ Smooth the appearance of a dorsal hump
✨ Create a straighter-looking profile
✨ Improve asymmetry
✨ Define + lift the nasal tip
✨ Enhance overall facial balance
✨ Make the nose actually appear smaller by improving its proportions

And yes…sometimes adding volume can make something look smaller. 🤯 It’s all about where that volume is placed.

BUT—this is one area where who you choose matters. The nose is a highly vascular area, and liquid rhinoplasty is not a treatment I take lightly. Proper assessment, anatomy knowledge, conservative placement, and being prepared to recognize and manage complications are essential.

Not everyone is a candidate—and sometimes surgery really is the better answer.

There are two sides to every story…
Me saying no—and you not listening.

When I tell you no, I promise I’m not trying to ruin your fun. I’m protecting your face.

A good injector knows how to inject filler.
A great injector knows when NOT to.

And don’t get me wrong—we all have our people. You might love me for your cheeks and have someone else you trust with your lips. That’s completely okay.

But where it gets tricky is when one injector says ā€œI wouldn’t add more,ā€ and instead of hearing the reason behind that answer, you keep searching until someone finally says yes.

Because eventually, someone will.

And sometimes that ā€œyesā€ is exactly how we end up overfilled, unbalanced, or trying to correct something that didn’t need to happen in the first place.

My ā€œnoā€ isn’t rejection…It’s part of the plan of having your back.

Sometimes the best thing I can inject is absolutely nothing.

Weighing in at 14lbs and 9 weeks old…
Ms. Injectables (aka Storm) is the newest member to the team!

Never thought I’d have a job, never mind my own business, that would allow our girl to come hang out with me this morning šŸ™Œ

I love how open my clients are with me…
Almost as much I am with them šŸ’€

I think about 99% of you can relate to some sort of ridiculous conversation we have had together 🤣 but also the ones we both consider therapy 🄰
