25 years later, and September 11 still feels impossible to put into words.
Today we remember the people who left home that morning and never came back. The families whose lives changed forever. The first responders who ran toward something unimaginable. And the countless ordinary people who, in the worst moments, chose to help someone else.
But we also remember what happened in the days that followed.
People showed up for each other. Strangers became neighbors. Differences felt smaller. We hugged our people a little tighter and were reminded just how much we need one another.
That’s the part we hope we never lose.
At ERA, we get to see every day what it means to show up for people. To encourage them through hard things. To celebrate their wins. To remind them they don’t have to do difficult things alone.
Today, that means something a little deeper.
We remember those who never got to come home. We honor those who ran toward danger. And we hold close the people we’re lucky enough to have beside us.
May we never forget the lives we lost- or the way we came together.
United we stand. 🇺🇸
