What an incredible day! ❤️We want to extend a massive THANK YOU to everyone who made Session 2 of our EMPOWERED series such a resounding success! To our brave teens and young adults, supportive families and caregivers, community-based organizations like our partner CBO Sickle Cell Warriors- Wisconsin, and dedicated clinical and research staff—thank you for bringing your energy, curiosity, and trust. It was a powerful afternoon centered on building independence and taking charge of adulthood with . A major highlight was giving our young warriors an exclusive tour of Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin and introducing them directly to the adult SCD clinical team! Exploring the facility, meeting the team in person, and asking real questions helped turn the unknown into an empowering, confident next step toward adult care.

Together, we:

🍔 Shared delicious meals
🎟️ Gave away awesome raffle prizes
💬 Hosted an insightful Q&A session for parents and caregivers
