I’m so EXCITED to share that this summer, Soul Ya Yoga will be partnering with Indigenous Roots Cultural Arts Center as a practitioner at the Eagle and Condor Native Wellness Center! 🌿✨

A heartfelt thank you to Mary Anne for your trust, support, and belief in this work. Opportunities like this are possible because of people who continue to champion healing, community, and connection.

Beginning June 9th, I will be offering Thai Yoga Bodywork & Energy Healing in East St. Paul (near Metro State University).

Thai Yoga Bodywork is not massage. It is a blend of assisted stretching, acupressure, energy healing, and mindful touch that helps release tension, calm the nervous system, improve mobility, and create space for deep rest. Many clients leave feeling lighter, clearer, more connected, and deeply supported.

I am so grateful to continue expanding this work and bringing healing into more communities. If your body has been asking for rest, this is your invitation. 💚

We are now offering a Yin to Nidra class on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-6:30pm. You get the best of both worlds: 30 minutes of stretch and 30 minutes of rest. Registration closes 2 hours before the start time.

This summer, we're taking a group of 14 Hmong women up to the Boundary Waters for a full immersion to get out of auto-pilot and do something "hard". We'll be led by Wilderness Expect, Lee Vue. Fed by our very own private chef, Jaye Parker. Held in community by our Group Facilitator, Nou Yang. And come back home to ourselves with yoga and meditation by Ka Zoua.

Rest isn’t laziness. Rest is a BREAK from the external noises so we can turn on our IMAGINATION and CREATE a life that is intentional and meaningful.

If we’re just taking a BREAK, there is less resistance.

If we move out of auto-pilot and turn on our IMAGINATION, we become limitless.

If we can remember that we are the CREATOR of our own universe, the power returns, we move with clarity and conviction.

I met Samantha Lee Fitness three years ago at one of her events. The event was thoughtfully organized, and Sam shared so many powerful lessons from her health and wellness journey. Hearing her clients speak about the impact she had on their lives was just as inspiring.

What I took away from that day was simple, yet life-changing:

Thai Yoga Bodywork is not massage.

It is a therapeutic, floor-based healing practice that blends assisted stretching, acupressure, mindful touch, and energy work to help the body release tension, restore mobility, and calm the nervous system.

At Soul Ya Yoga, our approach is slow, intuitive, and rooted in presence, consent, and nervous system safety.

There is no forcing, fixing, or pushing the body to change.

Instead, each session becomes an opportunity to listen deeply to what your body, breath, and energy are asking for that day.

Rather than following a rigid routine, every session unfolds organically through gentle movement, grounding touch, breath awareness, and energetic guidance.

Many people describe the experience as feeling deeply held, supported, and safe enough to finally let go.

Sessions take place in a calm, private space located in Northeast Mpls (very close to Diane's Place) and are supportive for stress relief, chronic tension, emotional overwhelm, grief support, and nervous system reset.

Each session begins with a Chakra Reading to tune into your energy centers and closes with gentle energy healing to help ground and integrate the experience.

You leave feeling lighter, clearer, supported, and more connected to yourself.
