I took a weaving class this weekend. I was moved by nine women, strangers, coming together to learn a beautiful art form. Led by a teacher who held sacred space and told us there are no mistakes, just beauty. We learned, we wove, we walked around, inspired by what each woman was creating. We supported and cheered each other on. Some were mindful, careful, and uncertain. Some moved with a knowing, remembering a past life of weaving. Each creation was unrolled from her loom with a flourish and calls of awe and cheer from those who started as strangers and connected through their journey of weaving.

It's an honor to hold space for women, to come together to weave their stories, their hearts, their journeys. Create connections that stand the test of time.

What a wonderful and spiritually connected weekend! The animals showed up for us as we gathered at a beautiful lodge on Shakopee Lake in Kathio State Park this weekend to celebrate Ostara. We saw or heard so many birds including swans and geese, woodpeckers, eagles, hawks, and falcons. We heard the chorus of coyotes and possibly a wolf? A large cat might have made an appearance, an otter popped its head out of the ice, and a snake almost made it into the lodge. A ladybug did make it in and was successfully relocated. The northern lights have a brief show as well! We joined the collective for Peace, Live, Unity, and Respect at noon on Saturday, and journeyed in so many ways to connect with nature and spirit.
