This year, we will be vending this growing season at the Four Sisters Farmers Market! Four Sisters is an Indigenous-focused farmers market that provides increased access to affordable, healthy, culturally appropriate local foods within the American Indian Cultural Corridor. 🌱🧑🏻‍🌾

You can catch us at 1414 E. Franklin Ave in the parking lot of the big yellow building, Thursdays 11 AM - 3 PM from the first week of June to the last week of October. 🌟

Four Sisters accepts SNAP, WIC SFMNP, and has its own matching program this season to help with healthy food accessibility. Check out their instagram or Facebook Sisters Farmers Market for more information and updates on their weekly programming 🧡

Today before seeing a client I prepped echinacea for tincture, glycerin, and an infused oil to make a balm. I also made recommendations for a tick bite on an arborist (Japonica tincture 1/2 teaspoons 3-4 x daily. Echinacea astragalus tea two mugs minimum daily. Teasel tincture low dose 1-5 drops daily. You can also do Englishman’s foot (plantain, ya know that leafy plant not the banana) activated and charcoal as a poultice on the bite.) Depending on how client is feeling we’ll do Reishi tincture too. All but the activated charcoal and the Plantain/Plantago is community support/mutual aid and of what I would use if bitten by a tick.
