Lately, I’ve been making a deeper shift in my Special Souls classes toward nervous system regulation and emotional awareness. 🤍

We still do yoga, movement, music, mindfulness, and hammock relaxation each class… but now I’m intentionally weaving regulation tools into everything we do. 🌈

Through our Twinklewood Forest story characters, students learn relatable tools for things like:
🦇 overstimulation
🐘 emotional safety
🐢 slowing down
🐠 expressing feelings

The stories are designed to help students better understand their bodies, emotions, sensory experiences, and calming tools in a playful, supportive way. ✨

Watching students connect with these characters and regulation tools has been incredibly special.

I’m so excited to introduce one of my favorite new friends from Twinklewood Forest… 🐸✨

Meet Fern the Floating Frog. 🪷

I’ve been deep in the creation process lately, creating emotional support friends for my Special Souls classes, and as a yoga teacher… we obviously needed a little yogi friend. 🌿

Fern helps friends remember how to pause and breathe instead of panic when life feels too loud or overwhelming.

He loves belly breaths, slow stretching, hammock naps, and helping friends feel safe in their bodies. ✨

His favorite reminder:

“Even wiggly water becomes still again.” 🌙
