We had an amazing night last night celebrating a bunch of lovely women at the Ms. Senior Monroe Celebration! We had a wonderful lady represent Monroe Springs- and she did an extraordinary job!! Eloise gave wonderful life advice: be kind to people & listen to them intently ❤️ We are so proud of her and are so grateful to have been apart of this celebration. We are already looking forward to next year! 👑

It’s Friday which means it’s Nursing Home Week Day 5! 🌼🌸 Today residents were able to wrap up the week with blooming celebrations 🎊 We started the day with a bloom boutique and cafe where residents were able to pick out a flower goodie and enjoy each others company 💗 The friendships made here are truly the best!

This afternoon residents enjoyed orange and grape floats- which was a resident idea! This made it even more special 💙 Meanwhile, staff got to dig into a yummy dirt cup 🪏

We are leaving this week with new memories, friendships, and happy hearts 💛 Thank you for following along! As always, we are so grateful for our residents, staff, families, and community!

Nursing Home Week Day 4 🌸🌺

Today we focused on our past and current connections ❤️ Residents started today with a lovely springtime activity brought by our friend Randi from Heart to Heart Hospice. Residents look forward to connecting with her every month! Thank you Randi for the fun (and snacks)! 🥳

Residents enjoyed a game of classic bingo this afternoon, followed by a sweet fruit arrangement! We all admired how beautiful it looked but it didn’t last long…and it was sure delicious 🍓🍊

To wrap up the day, we enjoyed some reminiscing time about spring and gardens past. It was special for residents to share their stories and make more meaningful connections with each other 💛

Our wonderful staff took part in a lemonade stand today where we served fresh squeezed lemonade 🍋🍋🍋 It was truly sunshine in a cup! ☀️

We are almost to Friday! Day 5 is sure to be a blast! See you again tomorrow ☀️💛🌼

Nursing Home Week Day 3 🌻 Today’s theme for residents: petals & performances!

This morning, residents enjoyed picking out their favorite tattoo, listening to music, and drinking lemonade 🍋 This afternoon residents enjoyed jamming to karaoke and listening to our friend David play & sing! It was a musically good day 🎤🎶

This afternoon, staff had the opportunity to participate in a yummy potluck! We enjoyed eating, socializing, and had the opportunity to say farewell to our wonderful & talented administrator, Krysten. Krysten is soon starting a new role as an administrator in one of our new sister facilities. Krysten has put her heart into our facility for the past several years, and has led with incredible grace & kindness, while also getting the job done. Krysten: you will be incredibly missed, but we are so excited for you! May you always be in your administrator era 🥰❤️

It was a great day filled with good company and we don’t want to forget…super sweet dogs! Our furry friends visited us today and, as some would say, we had a puppy party 😉🐶

Nursing Home Week Day 2 🌸 We are continuing to celebrate our “Moments in Bloom” today! Residents participated in a Spring photo booth this morning where they got to pick their own props…and we shared a good laugh or two!

This afternoon, staff participated in a favorite: staff bingo! Our winners spun our prize wheel and had the opportunity to win different prizes. We had many lovely winners today! 🎉

Residents are finishing off this afternoon by playing bingo and enjoying fresh smoothies 🍓 Tonight residents are springing into cinema by ending the night by watching a flower filled movie 🎥💗

National Skilled Nursing Care Week is off to an AMAZING start! This week we are celebrating our "Moments in Bloom" with special activities and fun 🌸🌼🌺 We kicked off this morning decorating flower pots and ended this afternoon by participating in a flower bar. Residents filled up their vases with BEAUTIFUL flowers & learned more about the flowers they were using thanks to Kim! 🌹 Overall we had a blossom-filled day! 🌸🌼
