I’ve had a lot of questions about vagus nerve because I think our “feeds” are full of information about it. One more thing “we have to do.”
Ironically these are easy exercises. I give to most of my clients (with some expert details on modifications if there is any discomfort at all). 
The vagus nerve needs space to send signals up and down your body so that it can do its job keeping you calm even in moments of chaos: all involuntarily.
Vagus nerve is a large component of your parasympathetic system, which is involuntary and connects our brain, our heart and our digestion. When our body is tight and the nerve doesn’t have the “space” to for vital communication in your nervous system.
Yoga, meditation and bodywork can be very effective in supporting you in this area.

So worth the read. YOGA is so worth the work. It will change your life, but it is not always about being comfortable and good all the time it is about learning to be comfortable being uncomfortable.
