“Apparently I can turn absolutely any situation into a women’s health consultation. 😂

But if I’m asking whether you’ve taken your estrogen, I promise there is more to the conversation than simply handing you a prescription.

Hormone therapy is personal. Your symptoms, health history, risk factors, labs, goals, and stage of life all matter when deciding what support may be right for you.

So whether you find MALI through a friend, a Reel, or a strategically placed QR code, we’re here when you’re ready to feel like yourself.

When ChatGPT says the mystery peptide from the internet is totally fine...

Respectfully, ChatGPT is not your doctor. 😂

If something says “for research purposes only,” the research should not be happening in your bathroom.

With gray market peptides, you may not know exactly what is in the vial, where it came from, how it was stored, or whether the dose is accurate. That is a lot of risk to take based on an online trend.

At MALI, we help you build a personalized plan with real medical guidance, responsible sourcing, proper monitoring, and support that looks at your full health picture.

Skip the mystery vial. Book your initial consultation today. www.chsmetabolismdoc.com

GLP-1 + HRT: could this be the missing piece for women in menopause? 👀

Emerging research suggests that addressing both metabolic health AND hormonal changes may help postmenopausal women see better results with GLP-1 therapy.

It’s not about adding more medications—it’s about understanding what’s happening in your body after menopause. ✨

Come get that sweet trifecta at MALI, the metabolism and Longevity Institute

I’m not a particularly spiritual or religious person. But sometimes things happen in your life that make you stop and wonder… was that a sign?

Starting this medical practice was a huge leap of faith. And if I’m being honest, there have been plenty of moments when I’ve wondered if I should just give up.

Maybe this silly little dream of mine — providing good, evidence-based medical care that puts lifestyle, prevention, and the whole person at the center — just isn’t what people want.

Yesterday, though, something happened that made me pause.

And maybe it was nothing. Maybe it was coincidence. But I think I’m going to choose to see it as a sign.

A sign to keep going.
A sign to trust the dream.
A sign that there are people who do want a different kind of healthcare.

So I’m going to keep following this dream — even when it feels scary, even when it feels uncertain, and even when I wonder if I’m completely crazy for trying.

Sometimes you just have to take the leap and see where it takes you. 🤍

My passion for helping women will always rise.

I, however, may need a minute. 😂

Some days are fueled by coffee, determination, and the genuine joy of helping women finally feel heard.

So yes, I might be tired after talking about hormones, metabolism, menopause, energy, sleep, weight, and libido all day. But give me five minutes on the floor and I’ll be ready to do it all again tomorrow.

And the winner is...

Honestly, I’m not sure any of us won here. 😂

This was a hard one because when you work in healthcare, every option comes with a story, a strong opinion, and at least one reason to say, “Absolutely not.”

Of course, these are my personal picks. But if you work in healthcare, I have a feeling you’ll understand exactly why some of these decisions caused me actual pain.

Which choice did you disagree with the most? Tell me in the comments, then follow Dr. Stacy Blecher | Hormone & Metabolism Specialist for women’s health education with a little personality mixed in.

The internet is full of very loud opinions about compounded GLP 1 medications, but this conversation needs a little more nuance.

Compounded does not automatically mean dangerous, but it also does not mean every source is trustworthy.

You should know who prescribed your medication, which licensed pharmacy filled it, what is actually in it, how it should be stored, and exactly how to measure your dose. Compounded medications are not FDA approved, so medical oversight and a reputable source truly matter.

At MALI, we help women use weight loss tools thoughtfully with support for nutrition, muscle, hormones, metabolism, side effects, labs, and long term health.

If you want a personalized plan instead of ordering medication from a mystery website, comment or DM HEALTH to learn more.

I thought that surely I must be dying…Meanwhile, my estrogen patch was somewhere living its best life.

Perimenopause does not discriminate. It does not care if you’re a mom, a doctor, a mom-doctor or a mom-doctor who specializes in women’s midlife health! Perimenopause does not care and it will humble you… as it did me 😂

Just because something is common does not mean you have to quietly live with it.

Too many women bring up changes in their sleep, mood, periods, energy, weight, or libido and leave the appointment feeling like they are overreacting.

You are not being dramatic. You are paying attention to your body.

Perimenopause can look different for every woman, which is why your symptoms, health history, labs, lifestyle, and goals all deserve to be part of the conversation.

If you have been told it is normal but you still do not feel like yourself, we can help !
