🎉 We Did It! 🎉

After three years of research, teamwork, perseverance, and countless prayers, HB 1131 is officially signed into law!

This victory truly took a village — from electrologists, to clients who wrote letters, to educators, legislators, supporters, friends, family, and everyone in between. Every single voice mattered!

Huge thanks to Representative Cory Criswell and my Representative Sue Errington for working together to merge her electrology bill with his esthetician bill to create a true win-win in a short session.

Because of this law, barriers are coming down. Indiana schools can once again offer electrology, and new electrologists will have a clear pathway to training and licensure.

Sue stood with me every step of the way — what a maahvelous way to celebrate her upcoming retirement!

The battle has been won — now the rebuilding begins. The bill takes effect July 1, 2027, and schools will need time to rebuild programs. Real change doesn’t happen overnight… but today, the foundation is set.
