May is busier than Christmas! 🫠
And your nervous system is keeping the score.
I’m a recovering people pleaser so this is a HUGE step for me but I’ve got quite comfortable with saying, “I’m not going.”
Not because I’m rude or I don’t care. But honestly, sometimes it’s the people and sometimes it’s trying to squeeze one more thing into an already packed schedule that takes days to recover from the social overload.
And I’ve noticed when my nervous system stays on overload too long, it starts whispering.
- tight hips
- tension headaches
- exhausted but can’t sleep
- jaw clenching
- anxiety
- low back tightness
I’ve FINALLY accepted these signs as my body asking for regulation.
This is one of reasons I love FST so much.
It gives the nervous system space to EXHALE. SLOW DOWN. BREATHE DEEPER.
