Weâre thrilled that our very own Myra Glajchen, DSW, MSW, BSW, ACSW, APHSW-C, director, education and training at the MJHS Institute for Innovation, was the keynote speaker at WHICOA (Washington Heights and Inwood Council on Aging)âs annual conference today!
Dr. Glajchen spoke about the role of human services practitioners in promoting patient- and family-centered care. She also shared information about the groundbreaking Educating Social Workers in Palliative and End-of-Life Care program, also known as ESPEC, with attendees.
From chair yoga led by Ann Megyas of the New York Insight Meditation Center to a sip & paint activity with The Canvas & Grapes Experience, it was a wonderful day of learning and connection with neighborhood leaders and organizations!
Congratulations WHICOA on the engaging, well-attended event, and thanks Isabella Center for hosting!
