This info session offers a clear look at how we support and educate nonspeaking students with complex sensory, motor, and communication challenges related to Autism, Down Syndrome, Whole-Body Apraxia, and other Neurodevelopmental Differences.

Learn about the history of ACCESS Academy and how, now in our 12th year, we are bringing even more opportunities for students across the globe!

Our individualized supports and accommodations center on text-based communication, regulation, and a presumption of competence that allows our students to achieve things never thought possible for them in self-contained classrooms, ABA centers, or life-skills-focused environments.

You’ll explore the variety of options we provide:

OPTION 1: Our private, virtual K-12 school, eligible for alternate placement when schools are unable to meet the needs of a student with complex needs that ACCESS Academy was built for. (Funded via district funding/settlements.) Includes a well-designed IEP, outlined accommodations, rigorous academic coursework, goal-tracking and progress notes, neurologic music therapy, coaching, and a dedicated, highly-trained, and supervised in-home Communication Regulation Partner (CRP) included. Additional related services and Extended School Year available. Includes accredited curriculum, licensed teachers, individualized weekly coaching sessions, weekly social groups, and academic monitoring.

OPTION 2: ACCESS2Academics K-12
a structured home education program for students and families who have no access to district funding, a public IEP, and are not seeking reimbursement for compensatory services. Includes accredited curriculum, individualized weekly coaching sessions, weekly social groups, and academic monitoring. This tuition-based program is underwritten in part by donors and nonprofit funding of Optimal ACCESS.

OPTION 3: A2A Adult Education
a structured home education program for students who aged out of special education before being allowed to earn an accredited diploma. Includes accredited competency-based curriculum, individualized weekly coaching sessions, weekly social groups, and academic monitoring. This tuition-based program is underwritten in part by donors and nonprofit funding of Optimal ACCESS.

OPTION 4: ACCESS Prep
a virtual, curriculum-based preparatory program for students in K-12 grades, focusing on building sensory coordination, reliable motor planning, and regulation strategies needed for text-based communication and academic participation. Includes flexible curriculum, social groups, individual coaching, and an additional group coaching session each week. This tuition-based program is underwritten in part by donors and nonprofit funding of Optimal ACCESS.
