Hi all!
Katie & Heather here with story time!
Sometimes you donโt notice the pattern until years later.
When Heather and I opened Del Soul, we chose a diamond as our logo. It became part of our identity, and when Eliana and Hush followed, we carried that diamond with us.
What we didnโt realize was that every step of the journey seemed to lead us back to a square.
Del Soul found its home in Market Square.
Eliana found its home in Eric Town Square.
Hush found its home in Factory Square.
Three businesses. Three squares. Three points of a story we didnโt even realize we were writing.
Then theres The Den.
The Den was never supposed to be its own thing. It was meant to be an extension of Hushโa hidden little addition tucked behind a bookcase.
But somewhere along the way, it found its own personality, its own following, and its own place in our family of businesses.
Without meaning to, it became the fourth point.
The piece that completed the diamond.
Maybe itโs coincidence. Maybe itโs just one of those funny things you notice when you stop long enough to look back.
But Heather and I often find ourselves thinking about the people weโve loved and lost along the wayโthe family members who would have been our biggest cheerleaders, the ones who would have been the first to celebrate every opening, every milestone, and every dream that became reality.
And every now and then, little connections like this make us smile and wonder if theyโre still rooting for us from somewhere above, leaving behind small reminders that theyโre still part of the journey.
Three squares.
Four businesses.
One diamond.
A story we never planned, but somehow ended up exactly where it was meant to be. ๐ซถ
