Jodi's Full Bio:
Jodi is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across school and outpatient settings. She earned her Master of Education in Counseling from William & Mary and brings experience as both a school counselor and psychotherapist.
Jodi takes an integrative, trauma-informed approach that combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, humanistic principles, and attachment-focused exploration. She believes therapy should feel both supportive and practical—creating space for clients to better understand themselves while building skills to navigate life’s challenges. Her work is strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and grounded in creating a safe, authentic therapeutic relationship.
Jodi enjoys working with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, grief, and life transitions. She supports clients in strengthening emotional regulation, building coping skills, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
Outside of work, Jodi enjoys spending time with her five-year-old child and eight-year-old dog. Her ideal afternoon includes browsing a bookstore with coffee in hand and discovering her next great read—one she’ll likely want to immediately share with others.
