If you've visited the Home recently, you may have noticed two new picnic tables on the side of the building, a peaceful outdoor space for our residents and staff!

These new tables and umbrellas were gifted to us by Sophia Edsall as part of her Eagle Scout project. She raised $3,400 for the project, and the leftover funds were donated to the Home.

Thanks, Sophia, for your contribution to the Home! We've already seen many smiling faces enjoying this new space.

Join us in congratulating Ashley Baker on becoming an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR)! 🎉👏

Ashley has served as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at the Home for seven years, working on her degree while working full-time. Along the way, she says the Home’s tuition reimbursement program and supportive culture helped make reaching this goal possible.

We’re so proud of her dedication to continued learning and her commitment to providing the best possible support to the young people in our care. 🩵💙

Wrestling night was so much fun! These guys had their PJs on, a giant inflatable screen up and watched an evening wrestling match in the atrium.

Our Annual H2Oh Yeah Day was an EPIC! The goal was simple: get absolutely soaked and have fun!

Here’s how we did it:
🎈 3,000+ water balloons
💦 70 residents joined
⏰ 3 hours of fun
🏊 Kiddie pools, water sprayers & sprinklers
🫧 A sensory-friendly “dry zone” with bubbles, games and a place to chill
🍧 Delicious Italian ice from Flavors Va
