✨Join Us for the Springbrook PFN’s 3rd Annual New York City Family Fun Day! ✨

We’re excited to head to New York City for the third year in a row on November 8th for a day filled with family, fun, and unforgettable memories in the Big Apple!

Tickets are for people receiving services through Springbrook and Southern Tier Connect, along with their loved ones and support staff who will accompany them at the event.

🎟️Tickets — $100 per person include:
🎸Hard Rock Cafe Brunch — Broadway, NYC (11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.)
🎶Center Orchestra Ticket — Aladdin on Broadway @ the New Amsterdam Theatre (1:00 p.m.)
Additional fees will be calculated at checkout.

🚌Transportation will be available from Binghamton and Oneonta.

1️⃣Bus seating is first-come, first-served.
‍🦽‍The wheelchair-accessible bus will depart from Binghamton.

✨Miss America's Teen New York, Lucille Esler, recently visited The School at Springbrook to share her journey of advocacy, inclusion, and her love for her younger brother, Teddy. ✨

Through her community service initiative, "Life With Theodorable: Supporting Autistic Individuals & Their Families", Lucille is working to create greater understanding and acceptance for people with autism and the families who support them.

During her visit, Lucille spent time with Springbrook students, sharing her experiences and helping them create their very own sashes with her guidance. What began as a creative activity became an opportunity for students to connect with Lucille, learn about her advocacy, and celebrate their own individuality and accomplishments.

Lucille's visit was a wonderful reminder that advocacy can take many forms, and sometimes, it starts with simply sharing your story, listening to others, and creating something together.

Last week, we celebrated Direct Support Professionals Appreciation Week by recognizing the dedicated people who make a difference every day in the lives of those we support.

Throughout the week, DSPs across Springbrook enjoyed some well-deserved treats, including ice cream from The Scoop in Whitney Point and delicious donuts and lemonade from The Donut Lab. Staff also showed off their new Springbrook swag as we celebrated their hard work, compassion, and commitment.

Thank you to all of the Direct Support Professionals for everything you do, and proud to celebrate you not just during DSP Appreciation Week, but all year long.
