Still riding the beautiful waves of this past weekend! 🌊✨

Friday (Juneteenth!) was spent immersed in the amazing energy of the Energy Healing Conference over at the Davis Conference Center in Layton. There is truly nothing like being in a room full of people dedicated to healing and light. I got to catch up with old friends—huge shoutout to the amazing host Tammy Ward for putting together such a wonderful event! It was also so good to see Marta (Shine the Light) and Andrea & Tom Wolf (My Essential Collection and Energy Healing Design), plus I loved meeting so many inspiring new friends.

Saturday took me up to Heber for a completely different, deeply moving experience. I attended a retreat to support caregivers of those living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s, offering them seated massages. To be able to give a moment of rest, touch, and relief to people who spend their lives caring for others was an absolute honor.

Two completely unique days, but both were absolutely wonderful experiences that reminded me why I love this work so much. 🕊️💆‍♀️

Pictures from the beautiful day up in Heber.

The Medicine of the Fox: A Encounter with the Unseen

To cross paths with a fox is rarely an accident; it is a gentle rupture in the ordinary, an invitation from the universe to look closer. When Fox slips out from the shadows and into your awareness, it arrives not just as a creature of the wild, but as a mirror for your own soul's evolution.

Fox medicine is subtle, quiet, and deeply profound. It does not crash through the forest like Bear, nor does it soar above like Eagle. It moves in the spaces between—the liminal thresholds of dawn and dusk—bringing with it three sacred gifts: Adaptability, Intelligence, and Heightened Intuition.

1. The Art of Camouflage: Adaptability

Fox does not fight the changing seasons; it changes its coat. When Fox appears to you, it is asking you to look at where you are resisting change.

The Teaching: You are being called to blend, to flow, and to navigate transitions with fluid grace.

The Medicine: True strength isn't always found in standing like an unyielding oak; sometimes, it is found in being the reed that bends with the wind. Fox reminds you that you have the innate ability to thrive in any environment, to pivot when necessary, and to find opportunity where others see an obstacle.

2. The Silent Strategy: Intelligence

Fox is the master of observation. It understands that power does not always belong to the loudest or the physically largest, but to the one who watches, listens, and understands the environment.

The Teaching: Discretion is your greatest ally right now. You don't need to reveal your next move to the world.

The Medicine: Use your intellect to outmaneuver challenges. Gather your facts, contemplate your choices, and act with sharp, deliberate precision. Fox medicine teaches you to solve problems not through brute force, but through cleverness, ingenuity, and wit.

3. Walking Between Worlds: Heightened Intuition

Because Fox operates on the edges of night and day, it is deeply connected to the psychic realms and the subconscious mind. Seeing a fox is a profound validation of your own internal compass.

The Teaching: Your third eye is opening wide. Pay attention to your dreams, your sudden flashes of insight, and those quiet "knowings" that can't be explained by logic.

The Medicine: Fox urges you to trust your instincts implicitly. It grants you the ability to see through illusions, to sense the true motives of others, and to anticipate shifts in your life before they even manifest.

A Mantric Reflection for My Encounter:

"I step into my camouflage. I trust my sharp mind. I honor the quiet whispers of my intuition. Like the Fox, I move through the world with grace, adapting to the shifts, and trusting the wisdom of the unseen paths."

When Fox recrosses the threshold back into the brush, it leaves you with a final reminder: You already possess everything you need to navigate this terrain. Trust your magic.

The Triad of Luminescence: A Midsummer Ritual

When the peak of summer sun meets the balancing edge of the silver quarter moon, the veil thinning between heaven and earth whispers of ancient foundations. This is a rare convergence—a moment where the blazing solar crown of the Solstice, the steady, forward-moving heartbeat of the First Quarter Moon, and the sacred, protective archetype of Father’s Day align.
Together, they form a cosmic trinity: the Provider (Sun), the Builder (Moon), and the Protector (The Father).

The Poetry of the Alignment
The Great King of the Sky reaches his highest, most radiant throne,
Spilling gold across the valley, a canopy of unyielding warmth.
This is the Solstice fire—the peak of life, the crest of the wave,
The divine masculine in his full, brilliant glory,
Teaching us how to shine without apology.
Yet, as the long twilight finally softens into dusk,
The Silver Sister claims her half of the sky.
Neither fully dark nor fully bright, the First Quarter Moon hangs poised—
A cosmic architect, stepping forward with intent.
She does not dream; she builds.
She takes the raw, fiery passion of the sun and shapes it into structure,
Urging the seeds beneath the soil to climb toward their destiny.
And rooted firmly upon the earth, the anchor holds.
We feel the presence of the fathers, the ancestors, the steady hands
That cleared the paths and built the hearths.
Like the sun, they gave us life; like the moon, they gave us structure.
They are the quiet strength in our bones,
The invisible roots that allow us to stretch safely toward the stars.

A Ritual of Fire, Soil, and Silver

Best performed at twilight, where the Solstice sun meets the visible Quarter Moon.
What you will need:
A single candle (gold, yellow, or white) to represent the Solstice Sun and Fatherly light.
A small piece of paper and a pen.
A small stone, crystal, or handful of rich earth to represent grounding and ancestry.

1. Opening: Calling the Pillars
Find a quiet space outdoors or near a window where the twilight sky is visible. Sit with your spine straight, feeling your connection to the earth beneath you. Light your candle, visualizing it as a spark of the great midsummer sun.

2. Honoring the Anchor (Father's Day Energy)
Hold the stone or touch the earth. Close your eyes and bring to mind the qualities of protection, structure, and guidance. Honor the father figures, mentors, or ancestral lineages that gave you the footing to stand where you are today.
Whisper or think: "For the strength that protects, the wisdom that guides, and the foundation that holds—I offer my deep gratitude."

3. Harnessing the Spark (Summer Solstice Energy)
Look at the candle flame. Feel the warmth of the longest days of the year filling your chest. This is your vitality, your passion, and your unique medicine.
Ask yourself: What part of my life is ready to be fully illuminated? Where do I need to shine my light more boldly?

4. Committing to the Path (First Quarter Moon Energy)
On your piece of paper, write down one definitive action you are ready to take to build your dreams. The Quarter Moon demands momentum, turning solar inspiration into tangible reality.
Place the paper under your stone/earth.
Affirm aloud: "The light is high, the foundation is set, and my path is clear. With steady steps, I begin."

5. Closing
Let the candle burn down safely, or blow it out, sending the smoke up as an offering to the sky. Keep your action paper under the stone on your altar or windowsill until the full moon arrives.

🌙 Waxing Crescent Moon. 🌙

This is the phase of initiation, fresh momentum, and planting seeds. The darkness of the New Moon has passed, and the first sliver of light is emerging—making it the perfect cosmic timing to breathe life into your intentions and take your first brave steps forward.

🌟 The Ritual: "Feeding the Spark" 🌟

This ritual focuses on transition: moving an intention from a thought in your head into a physical spark in the world.

‼️What You’ll Need:

A single candle (White for pure potential, silver for the moon, or green/gold for growth).
A small piece of paper and a pen.
A small bowl of soil, a potted plant, or a glass of water.

🤔Optional: Crystals like Clear Quartz (amplification) or Carnelian (action).

💥The Steps:

Ground Yourself: Sit comfortably where you can ideally see the moon (or just visualize it). Close your eyes and take three deep breaths. With every exhale, drop your shoulders and let go of old stagnation.

Write the Intention: On your paper, write down one specific thing you are calling in or starting this cycle. Write it in the present tense (e.g., "I am building the foundation for my new project with confidence.")

Light the Flame: As you strike the match and light the candle, say: "The light returns, and so does my momentum."

Charge the Paper: Hold the paper in your hands. Close your eyes and visualize your life as if this intention is already growing. Feel the excitement and the slight, nervous thrill of a new beginning.

Anoint or Bury:
If you have a plant/soil, fold the paper and tuck it into the earth, symbolizing planting the seed.
If you have water, dab a few drops onto the paper to "water" your idea, then leave the paper beneath the candle holder.

Recite the Words: Stand up, look toward the moon (or the flame), and speak the invocation below with authority.

🔥The Invocation🔥
Waxing Crescent Incantation
Silver sliver in the dark,
Catch my breath and catch my spark.
The night is young, the slate is clear,
I shed the weight of yesterday's fear.
As you grow, so shall I,
Reaching upward to the sky.
Ideas take root, the path is spun,
The quiet shifting has begun.
With courage fierce and vision bright,
I feed my hunger to the light.
By skin and bone, by breath and deed,
I wake the spark, I plant the seed.
So it is said, and so it is done.

💥Closing the Ritual💥

Let the candle burn down safely, or blow it out while visualizing your breath carrying the intention out into the universe.

In the coming days, remember that the Waxing Crescent demands one small, physical action to show the universe you're serious. Buy the notebook, send the email, or outline the plan. The moon is growing, and it's taking you with it.

A New Moon Blessing for Abundance & Creativity
"Under the fertile darkness of this New Moon,
I open my heart and hands to the infinite current of creation.
I clear away the old, making spacious room for fresh inspiration to flow.
I plant the seeds of rich abundance and vibrant expression.
May my vision be clear, my hands be steady, and my spirit be open
to the brilliant ideas waiting to take root.
Like a seed beneath the soil, I trust the quiet magic of the unseen.
May this cycle bring a steady harvest of prosperity, joy, and deep alignment.
My potential is limitless, and I am ready to grow.
And so it is."

Sunlight on the Leaves, Moon in the Roots: A Ritual of Ahimsa

There is a beautiful, quiet paradox in tending the earth under the bright warmth of the sun while consciously moving with the rhythm of the moon. Even when hidden by daylight, the Waning Gibbous Moon is actively pulling the earth’s energy downward into the soil, creating the perfect cosmic current for grounding, rooting, and letting go.

When you step into the garden during the day, you are stepping into a living meditation. The sun illuminates the physical work of your hands, while the moon guides the unseen energy beneath your feet. As you dig into the dirt, you are initiating a sacred exchange with Mother Earth—offering up the heavy burdens, old patterns, and worries that no longer serve you, trusting her infinite capacity to compost our shadows into new life.

This mindful connection to the soil naturally deepens into the practice of Ahimsa—the profound vow of non-harming and dynamic compassion.

In the garden, Ahimsa transforms the way you touch the world:

Compassion for the Earth:

It is in the gentle mindfulness of your fingers as they navigate the soil, choosing to nurture rather than dominate, and honoring the delicate ecosystem thriving in the dark.

Compassion for Self:

It is the ultimate act of self-love to consciously lay down your burdens into the dirt, releasing yourself from the pressure to carry what is no longer yours to bear.

By planting in the daylight during this waning phase, your labor becomes a dance of absolute harmony. You are guided by the sun, rooted by the moon, and held by Mother Earth. Every seed tucked into the ground becomes a living prayer of peace, non-harm, and gentle surrender.

What are you planting today, and letting go of?
