Carrot cake vibes… but make it nutrient-dense 🥕✨

Healthier goodies made with high-nutrient ingredients like carrots and almond flour are so satisfying with my morning coffee, as a midday snack, and especially useful when traveling. ☕✈️

Prepping balanced snacks that are both delicious and supportive of your goals can go a long way when it comes to energy, satisfaction, and avoiding the “grab whatever’s around” moments.

Making more meals and snacks at home can also help increase nutrient quality while cutting back on excess added sugars, sodium, and highly processed ingredients that may contribute to inflammation over time.

Small choices consistently add up. 💛

RD ➝ CDCES ✔️
10 years in the making.

Wow, what a journey this has been. From culinary nutrition, to becoming a Registered Dietitian in 2016, to fitness competitions, and now in 2026, officially becoming a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).

The CDCES is one of the most advanced credentials in diabetes care. It means I have demonstrated expertise not just in nutrition, but in the full picture of diabetes management -- medications, monitoring, behavior change, and long term risk reduction.

For my clients, this means even more specialized, evidence-based support whether you are managing Type 1, Type 2, prediabetes, or just trying to get ahead of your numbers.

The fact that this Silk kit got lost and still found its way to me… a reminder that timing doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.

This kit said “we complete (protein) you,” and honestly — it did:

✔ 13g plant‑based protein → an easy way to reinforce protein at meals and snacks
✔ Heart‑shaped spatula → makes cooking feel less intimidating and more fun
✔ Recipes (protein bites, snack cake, black bean brownies) → real‑life application, not theory
✔ Sweatbands → connecting food + movement, because lifestyle > isolated habits
✔ Coupons → reducing cost barriers to trying plant‑based options

As a dietitian, I’m always looking for tools that support positive behavior change and make plant‑based eating:
✔ Accessible
✔ Enjoyable
✔ Flavorful

Gifted by Silk . All opinions my own.

Plant-Forward Meal in Minutes (Quick + Balanced)

Nutrition is not about control or perfection.
It’s about working with your biology—not against it.

When your intake is balanced, structured, and enough for your body…
✔️ Hunger regulates
✔️ Energy stabilizes
✔️ Weight becomes easier to manage

Without the constant mental effort.

💫 If you’re looking for personalized guidance and structure (and covered by insurance)

Consistent, adequate intake is one of the most practical ways to support stable blood glucose.

Skipping meals or going long periods without eating often leads to:
• Energy dips
• Increased hunger
• Less intentional choices later

Really enjoying these options from Primal Kitchen for every quicker meals!

Dale a tu cuerpo lo que necesita, incluso en días ocupados.
