What does “hot yoga fusion mean?”
I’m not entirely sure, but I think it’s a combination of yoga styles from different teachers in a heated space.
I’ll tell you about the classes that I teach at this lovely little studio in my beloved West Philly. ❤️
Sometimes it’s slow; sometimes it’s fast. Often it’s both. The classes are designed to take you on a journey, and have an experience. There is a beginning, middle and end. The music is always dialed in so the vibes are on point. We always flow and we always sweat. We come often and we get to know each other. There is progression, there is change, there are introductions to new poses and playtime with arm balances and inversions often. It’s open and inviting, all levels welcome, with the awareness that advanced options are offered and you get to decide your participation level. Rest whenever you want, listen to your body. Zero judgement zone, zero ego zone. It’s West Philly ya’ll. It’s your time. It’s a place where we can truly drop in, connect with our breath and bodies and let the noise of life stay outside the studio walls. It’s a time just for you, to be with yourself, to drop in a little deeper, and let the breath and asana poses take you somewhere that you’d like to keep returning to.
It’s intuitive movement. We do it together, I teach from the mat and take the class with you. We are in it together, the whole time. We move together. We grow together, we flow together.
I teach Vinyasa Flow. So it’s a playful dance through space and time. It’s a moving meditation. It’s freedom.
