Roundtrip Removing transportation as a barrier to wellbeing

RoundTrip provides healthcare professionals — including case managers, unit secretaries, social workers, nurses and other transport requestors — with a simple, web-based portal and mobile platform that connects patients with on-demand, non-emergency medical transportation such as medical cars, wheelchair vans, and stretcher vehicles when and where they need it.

Sometimes “thank you” just doesn’t feel like enough.

EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers - everyone in emergency services - is always there for you on your worst day. Even on their worst day.

At Roundtrip, we spend a lot of time talking to EMS leaders - both in hospitals and the agencies that support them. It’s hard to fully put into words the care and determination we see in how these folks balance life-saving decisions alongside operational pressures. With all this in mind, we didn't think a simple "thank you" felt like enough. Here's what our team really wants you to know:

💙 We see how hard you work to balance everyone’s expectations.
💙 We understand that sometimes things don’t turn out as you hope, despite every effort.
💙 We appreciate that you never forget there is a patient behind every ride - emergent and non-emergent alike.
💙 We hope you know how much your dedication and partnership means to us.
💙 We salute the resilience it takes to work in EMS every day.
💙 We strive to be the best partner we can to lighten the load.

Thank you & Happy National EMS Week.

Who else is headed to Tahoe? 🙋‍♀️ Roundtrip is excited to once again exhibit at the Northern California Chapter of the American Case Management Association Conference tomorrow; here are just a few reasons you should stop by our table in the expo hall:

📞You are really, really tired of spending all your time tracking down transportation providers and authorizations over the phone.

⏰ There’s no transparency into when your ambulance or wheelchair van is going to arrive and your patient has been ready to go for an hour.

⭐ Lindsay Tamchin will be there and time spent picking her brain on patient transportation strategy and workflow design is time well spent. (Or pick her brain about Summer House - your call.)

🎉 You like pins & prizes.

🚀 You know it’s time to start working with a transportation solution that will grow and evolve with your health system as your needs and priorities change.

If one or more of those reasons strike a chord, now is the time to chat with our team! Stop by the booth for a short demo to see everything Roundtrip can do to improve patient transportation at your organization.

As a case manager, have you ever wondered, “why don't I have an ambulance yet” when your patient has been waiting to be discharged for an hour? And EMS leaders, are you frustrated when a ride order is placed 30 minutes before discharge?

The reality is that Case Management and EMS leaders are always working towards the same goal - patient flow. But sometimes it feels like they are speaking two different languages, which can erode trust and slow discharge processes.

Join us for our session, “Better Patient Flow: Using Data to Strengthen Case Management–EMS Partnerships” at ACMA 2026 National Conference on Monday, April 20th at 4 PM EST to see how data can serve as a common ground to demystify this partnership.

Roundtrip’s Chrisna Govin will be moderating a discussion between two leaders in the same health system, Nelson Pedro and Alicia Corey, to explore how they confronted these tensions through the careful analysis of data.

Can’t make it? Stop by the Roundtrip booth 701 and we’ll give you the recap and a short walkthrough of all the ways Roundtrip data can help you build and strengthen bridges within your system.

Heading to Austin for ESO Wave next week? Still finalizing what sessions to attend?

Make sure you catch “Logis: Time Management & Delays for Non-Emergent,” on Thursday, April 9th at 10:45 AM CT. You’ll learn how to:

🧭 Navigate the reporting engine
🔨 Build custom queries
📝 Extract the vital statistics needed for agency compliance and performance auditing

Plus, Roundtrip's own Sze Hui will give a short demo on how Roundtrip’s online ordering platform ensures a fully EHR integrated ride booking experience, so data flows directly from the EHR into your Logis Dispatch instance. The result? Less manual errors, accelerated dispatcher workflows, and better transparency at all stages of the ride.

Can’t make it? Stop by booth 19 to talk to the team and get a personalized demo of Roundtrip.

For the last couple weeks, we’ve been sharing profiles of our incredible women leaders here at Roundtrip. While it may be the last day of Women’s History Month, we tend to think we should celebrate the women at Roundtrip, and in NEMT as a whole, all year long.

But we would be remiss in noting that our team of amazing women does not stop with our executive team. Women make up 53% of Roundtrip’s employee base, and we were even ranked as one of the top 5 places to work in Philadelphia by InHerSight, one of the top resources for women in the workplace.

So tell us, who else deserves to be recognized? Who on our team should we profile next? Are there any women leaders out there who are innovating in the NEMT space? Tag them in the comments below, so we can make sure they get their flowers all year long.

What does your professional support system look like? Are they Mentors? Peers? Friends?

According to Forbes, women in the workplace with a support system report higher job satisfaction and confidence in their work. Roundtrip’s Chief Revenue Officer Lindsay Tamchin leans on her network to “share best practices, compare notes, and talk through the kinds of situations that don’t always have a playbook.”

Having those meaningful connections has allowed Lindsay to approach complex problems with more insight and feel supported in situations that often don’t have clear solutions. Our leadership profile blog highlights more of what drives Lindsay to be the strategic leader she is today, check it out in the link below 👇
