Thanks to the generosity of Salt River Project, the NICU supply closet at Valleywise Health Medical Center is stocked and ready to support our tiniest patients!

Hundreds of swaddling wraps and receiving blankets help ensure babies in the NICU have the comfort and care they need during some of their earliest and most critical days.

Every child deserves opportunities to play, create, and just be a kid, even in the hospital.

Thank you to Child's Play for their recent $2,500 grant supporting Child Life services at Valleywise Health Medical Center! This generous gift will help provide games, arts and crafts, technology, and other therapeutic play resources for children receiving care in our Pediatric and Burn units.

Through the support of partners like Child’s Play, our Child Life team can continue creating meaningful moments of joy and comfort for young patients and their families. We’re grateful for their ongoing commitment to making the hospital experience a little brighter for the children we serve.

We're honored to welcome Dr. Kevin Foster to the Valleywise Health Foundation Board of Directors.

A nationally recognized burn surgeon and Director of the Diane & Bruce Halle Arizona Burn Center at Valleywise Health, Dr. Foster has spent decades advancing burn care, research, and education. Since joining Valleywise Health in 1999, he has helped transform the Burn Center into one of the busiest and most advanced burn centers in the nation, improving outcomes for countless patients and families.

“The work we do at the Diane & Bruce Halle Arizona Burn Center is incredibly personal to me. Every day, I see the strength of our patients and the compassion of our care teams at Valleywise Health. Supporting the Foundation helps ensure our patients and families continue to receive the care, resources, and support they need to heal.”

A major advancement in burn recovery is now available at Valleywise Health.

The HELIX SCAR3 Laser, exclusively from Cartessa Aesthetics, was made possible through the generosity of The Diane & Bruce Halle Foundation. This advanced technology is helping burn survivors improve mobility, flexibility, function, and quality of life through innovative scar treatment.

As the only burn center in Arizona offering HELIX SCAR3, Valleywise Health continues to lead the way in burn care and rehabilitation, bringing some of the most advanced recovery options available to patients across Arizona and the Southwest.

A heartfelt thank you to the Scottsdale giving circle of 100+ Women Who Care Valley of the Sun for selecting Valleywise Health Foundation as their Q2 charity recipient and for their generous gift of more than $12,500!

Their support will help provide LifeBubble Umbilical Line Securement Systems in the Valleywise Health NICU, improving safety and comfort for premature and critically ill newborns who rely on lifesaving umbilical lines. This innovative system also helps make skin-to-skin bonding safer and easier for families during a critical time in their baby's journey.

We are grateful for this incredible group of women and their commitment to giving our tiniest and most vulnerable patients the best possible start in life.
