In my early luteal (pre-menstrual and post-ovulation) phase, I opt for no makeup days, but during times I feel like I need a little pick-me-up, I throw on some tinted SPF, blush, highlight, mascara and lipgloss. These are my go tos for the freshest face on the block ✨

This morning for skincare, I used a cera ve hydrating makeup wipe, heritage store rose water and glycerin facial mist, and la roche-posay triple repair moisturizing cream. Back to basics skincare.

✨ 2nd cleanse! ✨

I used Prequel’s Gleanser+SA in this video. Which is formulated with emollient and moisturizing Glycerin, and an exfoliating/oil dissolving AHA powerhouse called Salicylic Acid. Fragrance-free and unscented, this cleanser is wonderful for sensitive skin, and built up sebum and dead skin cells are sloughed away down the drain with the rest of your sorrows from the day. 🛁🫧

An important step to any facial, The 2nd cleanse you can get away with using slightly more pressure and speed with your movements, as it is meant to feel like you are literally cleaning the day away. ✨🧼

Anyone else wash their own face in fast-forward mode? 🤣

For those who don’t know me, I used to be a chronic quitter. Of everything. Even things I was passionate about.

And then in November of 2024, right before I started beauty school, I got pregnant with my firstborn son, Gabriel. This made things a hell of a challenge for me.

Hi! I’m Rachel, and somehow, some way, I made it through the tunnel, to find the sunshine on the other side. You have to believe me when I say THIS in itself is miraculous.
Before becoming a mother, I would have rather left myself to rot in the tunnel than even attempt to keep pushing myself to walk through it.
Now, I’ve shown myself I can surge through challenges with ease. I showed myself I could show up even when it was hard and nothing looked good for me.

And the biggest thank you to the instructors that made this graduation happen, Ms. Emily and Ms. Kelly. Ya’ll pushed me to be great. And I can’t thank you enough.

Thank you to my mom and dad who funded and emotionally supported this journey the entire way, and who continue to be Gabriel and my biggest fans every day, showing up no matter what.

Thank you to the friends I’ve made as well. I don’t have anyone’s @ off the top of my head, but you know who you are and you mean the absolute world. Companionship has been so extremely important through this time.

The before and after results of a simplistic pro30 facial (30 minute service) on Adalyn. 💕

In the before, Adalyn’s cheeks are more textured, and redder.

In the after shot, Adalyn’s skin is brighter, less pink, and you can tell her face is less inflamed.

She suffers from dry skin, especially in dry, cold weather.

Last night, my pro30 for her included hydrating and soothing ingredients and a hydrating and cooling mask. I focused on lymph movements even though we skipped the facial massage, and made sure to take extra time for the pre cleanse and 2nd cleanse, since we were skipping exfoliation and opting for a colloidal mask.
We finished with the arm and hand massage, as well as a toner mist and moisturizer. She left feeling relaxed, and went back home to her fiance and newborn feeling grateful for the time she spent away, and more present.

Skincare is more than just that. It’s self care. Its presence, its mindfulness. And health. Your skin is the largest organ in your body. And the only first-line layer of protection you’ve got. Take good care of the skin you’re in! 🌞✨
